Rajesh K. Soin: Chairman/CEO

As a highly successful entrepreneur and business owner, Raj Soin has over 30 years of extensive executive experience.  He has served in multiple capacities as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and as a Board member for both private and public companies.  Soin is currently the Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Soin, LLC, a holding company that controls all Soin family enterprises as well as equity investments.  He also serves on the Board of Transtar Industries, Inc., a corporation who specializes in the distribution and manufacturing of aftermarket automotive products. 

 His business endeavors include establishing companies that cover a range of industries including defense and engineering services, commercial and defense software, various services to intelligence agencies, telecommunications, plastic and metal manufacturing, automotive components, real estate and textiles.  These companies have operations in Australia, Asia, and various European and Southeast Asian countries.  

Soin feels a responsibility to give back to his community and in that spirit, he has been an active supporter of projects in education and healthcare personally and through the Soin Foundation.   He served on the boards of his alma mater, Bradley University and at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio along with the Kettering Medical Center Network.   The Indu and Raj Soin Medical Center, the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University and the Soin Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Center at Dayton Children’s Hospital are all examples of Soin’s philanthropy. 

His hard work and dedication both professionally and philanthropically led to numerous honors and awards.  Some samples of those honors are:

  • Ernst & Young’s 1999 Master Entrepreneur 

  • Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award, 2003

  • 2005 Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Degree, Wright State University

  • 2005 Delhi College of Engineering Distinguished Alumnus Award

  • 2010 Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Bradley University
